Specific capabilities at the EIDD include hit-to-lead medicinal chemistry, cellular biology, virology, pharmacokinetic profiling, metabolic stability and metabolite identification, preformulation and dose formulation development, scale-up synthesis of drug substance and process development, in vivo pharmacology, and early in vitro and in vivo toxicology studies.
