Available Facilities for Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics

The 3,000 sq ft Bioanalytical/DM/PK suite includes open office space with a 1,200 sq ft open space to house and operate up to eight LC/MS/MS instruments and a separate 550 sq ft space with two fume hoods for sample preparation.

Major equipment includes four LC/MS systems for state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative analysis including three triple quadrupole mass spectrometers: one triple quadrupole instrument (Applied Biosystems API-4000 LC/MS/MS System with Agilent 1200 HPLC), and two hybrid triple quadrupole/linear ion trap instruments (Applied Biosystems API-4000 QTRAP LC/MS/MS System with Agilent 1200 HPLC; Applied Biosystems 5500 QTRAP LC/MS/MS System with Agilent 1200 HPLC equipped with a LeapTech PAL with DLW autosample), and 1 ion trap LC/MS system (ThermoFinnigan LCQ DECA XP LC/MS with Agilent 1100 HPLC). Suitable software, balances, free standing HPLC’s, sample freezers, and sample preparation equipment complete this state-of-the art facility.
